My buddy's about to drop in a 96 GSR motor into a 99 Civic Si, and we have a couple concerns. The motor, dizzy, ECU, etc. are OBD2a. The Si harness is OBD2B.
How can he make it all work? The only other swap I've done is my OBD2a GSR motor into my OBD2a Civic.

buy an obd2a to obd2b harness and you should be fine. Although i'm not too sure about the dizzy but i would assume its the same
As long as I dont have to take out any more Metal Gears

i believe the engine harness on the 99 SI should be plug and play. The only thing u would have to wire up is the secondary butterflies (IAB). Also u will need a conversion jumper harness from obd2b to obd2a for the ecu
