got a 97 ex 2dr......every time when i pull in my driveway..(or anywhere with a dip then a hill....of course it only happens when i take it slow and in an angle)...i get this poping sound from the rear of my car.......sounds like someone took a hammer and bang it on my trunk!! Its driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!.............i have looked everywhere, but i couldn't find the source of this sound. I checked all the nuts and bolts on my car and i they are fine. I thinks it has to do with my sway bar, or its just the body flexing?????? i really don't know!!!! help!!!

well.....in the rear of my car i got ......upper strut bar, 19mm sway bar, lower tie bar, special alum. control arms, new upper control arms, all new poly bushings, koni reds, RSR springs.....etc etc......

anybody knows whats going on with my car!!!!.......anybody have the same problem?????......please let me know......its driving me nuts!!!!

 

Hey im glad u brought this up. im having the same prob too. it started a few weeks ago and it only happens when i enter a driveway making a shart right turn. and it also comes from the rear right side. i think its my shocks or my springs. i got some kyb agx & skunk2 adjustables. i gotta check them out soon cuz its driving me nuts. ill let u know what the hell it is if i solve it. post up if u figure it out too. thanx

 

Sounds like your springs aren't sitting right on the perches. Definitely something to do with the suspension though.

 

same thing happen to me with my civic....i took my suspension off and checked it out....put it back on....and it quit. So i know that it had something to do with the suspension...
