Default B20 Block for $100 bucks

B20 Block, $100

#1 cylnder threw a main bearing(felt the bearing, its loose and wooply, rest are all snug), walls seem fine, 50,xxx on engine, missing water pump/flywheel

What should I look for before I buy this engine? Mains bearing, how much do they usually run for?

what do you all think?

Well if you have full access to the engine, check for any cracks in the cylinder walls and inspect all rod bearings and crank journals.

If possible plastigauge each main and rod bearing that is still good and check to see what the specs are on the bearings.

other then that you'd have to send it to a machine shop for further inspection and get a the block hot tanked and honed
