I have heard nothing but good reviews with Lo Jack.

You can go to Lojack.com to find out more about it.

I'd prefer Viper over LoJack because Viper has many more options plus you can track it yourself.

ive had 4 lojacks on 4 different cars. lojack works as it should living in a big city of los angeles, the key to lojack working as it should is the install. do not get the dealership install get the home install.

reason, so you can see how long the install actually takes. all mine took about 15-30 minutes... yea scratching your heads? me to. i forced all the installers to tell me where the device was located , needless to say, 4 screws later it was in plain site under my civic shifter console.

lol

i later disconnected the lojacks and placed it deep behind my dash. cost will be around 500 for the normal one and around 6-700 for the early warning..

all those cars were sold, now i use a clifford g5 alarm, two proximity sensors, autolok, club, and my wheel boot. my sensors are digitally set at 4 feet, so there is no way anyone can be 4 feet and my alarm goes on. but i always have my car in my sight aswell so i dont need the lojack anylonger...and inorder to open my hood,,,well the car will have to jack up....

good device but key is the installation. and make sure the antenna is expanded.. yea mine were wrapped around and only 5 inches long... to lojack installers

Get full coverage. I mean, honestly, your "lil bro" just purchased a 7 year old car, and most likely paid $8500 for it, not like he's driving some $60000 sports car.

I've had 3 different alarm systems and will be going with lojack on my newest car(del sol), but like others have said either pay the dealer extra to hide the system or do it yourself.

The key is to relocate the lojack to a better spot. Take off the lojack sticker. Also just because you have lojack does not mean that you dont need a alarm. Layer up your alarm system-back-up battery- stealth install-extra sirens that are hidden not just into the engine bay. The more difficult you can make your car the better. The lojack will cost you around 800-1k for the ews. Do not get the unit with out ews. You will lose your money and your car.

If you need any help just pm me.
