Knocking/Jerking problem
Hey guys, i have another problem. today i decided to check my spark plugs. so i took them out and checked, they were all fine. in the process i took out a hose that went from the porgramed fuel injection system to the engine block. when i put the spark plugs back in, i forgotto put that hose back into the engine block. and the way home i noticed that when i was driving in low RPMs (like under 2000) there was knocking/jerking, like it didnt have power. i thought it was becasue i didnt tighten the spark plugs. so when I got home i checked them all, and they were all fine. (By the way, this might sound like a stupid question but how tight are you supposed to tighten them). and I put the hose back into place this time. So i took it out for a spin and same thing. I dont know what it could be, bc i have never had this problem before. Can anyone help me out with this? I have no clue on what to do.
you could cross threaded the sparkplug, not very likely but you could.
i can't comment on torque spec until i know what year is your car.
one of my honda is 13lb another one is 16's
there's a wire/vaccum loop diagram under the hood, if you can't figure it out, post a picture

One really handy thing to have on hand for spec sort of questions is a Chilton or Haynes book on your car (found at most auto part stores for not too much). It'll also should give some tips on how to troubleshoot your knocking problem.
What year is you car? Are the sparkplug wires original?
I would bet that you roughly handled them and broken one (or more) internally.
After awhile, old spark plugs wire are like porcelin dolls. VERY DELICATE. You're symptoms sound like a car that's down a cylinder.
You have to pull from the base (and at right angles) otherwise you will shear them interally.
I would:
Replace your sparkplug wire with OEM wires.
Most aftermarket wires suck ***** and don't fit correctly or live up to 'performance' expectations. However, having said that, I would intsall a set of Magnecors if the price was comparable to a set of OEM honda wires.
Lesson 2: Dont lean on the radiator. Ever. You will spring a leak.

well i probably did rough hangle them bc they were stuck inside the spark plug socket, and had to bang them out. by the way i do have aftermarket spark plug wires that fit perfectly. i have a 1992 honda accord LX. I am going to go get new ones today and put them in. by the way I had Autolite AP 5224 spark plugs that were kinda old. Thanks for the help.
Chilton/Haynes manuals are the worst creation EVER! Get a Factory SErvice or get nothing at all...chilton haynes did nothing but give me incorrect firing orders and misguided information 80% of the time..
