ok im getting my ecu chipped for my b18c and my friend has a dodge truck and hes telling me hes getting his ecu flashed? whats the different between getting chipped and flashed... im sending my ecu to j-k-tuning... by the way i have a del sol thats y im in this forum and i did search as well

Flash and chipping are practically the same thing. You reprogram the ecu to see something else. Reflashing is normally the word when your working on obd2 cars and chipping is obd1.
