i have a 96 civic ex with a b18c swap i need a ecu

 

I think that'd be a P73

 

is it usdm gsr? if so it would be b18c1, if is just b18c only, it can jdm gsr/type r

so find out which motor is it

you have to choice, p73 is for a type r and p72 is for a gsr

 

The B18C should be the JDM SiR, which is similar to the USDM B18C1 GSR engine. You should get a P72 in that case to control the IAB in the dual stage intake manifold.

is also could be a jdm type r

 

its a usdm but wat is a emission control unit that failed wen i took it to get safety and emission but failed on emission due to no connection

 

the OBD2 reader probably could not read, that is why no connection was made

what ecu do you have in it right now?

you will need an obd2a P72 ecu to go along with your swap

 

What ECU do you have now?
