Default Switching H22A4 over to OBD1

Originally i thought this would be no problem but I have seen threads recently about a bunch of things you need to change. Well I will be running a hondata s300j with a jdm obd1 p72. Besides the conversion harness do I need to change anything else. I heard something about the distributor or with sensors (ie crank) ? Thanks
