Yeah, no ****...why would you want to ruin perfectly good ITR seats by making them all smooth and slippery?

i can see my itr seats getting messed up fast........i can't see the threading staying intact for that long............I wanted to see if anyone had re-upolstered their seats

If you are reasonably careful when getting in and out of the car, I don't think you'll have any problems. Don't worry about your seats getting messed up until they actually do...should be fine for AT LEAST 2-3 years.

my 4 year/55k old ITR seats are in great condition, no rips tears or thread problems.

How about some seat covers? Or just buy used stock GS/GSR seats, they're leather, and it won't cost much more than reupholstering your interior, in fact, it might even be cheaper.

I'd go by an upolsterer(sp?) ans see if they can find the materials to redo em like new.

The seat covers can be bought and put on, you do not need to get whole new seats, but it may be cheaper. You will need a hogring plyer which will cost you ~$25USD. The seat covers may be a little expensive about $400 for the back rest part and another $400 for the bottom cover. so that's ~$800 for one seat, of course these are dealer prices so you may get it for cheaper from wholesale honda part suppliers.
