Default What do you think about these cams????

Well my specs are:
89mm 12.5:1 pistons
90.7 stroke
ported IM
68mm throttle
rmf header
stock head

i am looking for some good cams and i have the dynosim software proracingsim.com and the program came up with these cams:

12.7mm 282 duration 115 centerline angle(Intake)
12.2mm 272 duration 110 centerline angle(Exhaust)

Or should i go with the Jun 3 or h24x??

I compared them in the software and the first ones were the ones that gave me the best power..But there is always doubt.

Thank you,
for your help and time

My initial thought is you may want a little more duration to take advantage of the dwell time of the piston & let the amount of air you'll be moving in & out. It will also decrease the ramp speeds for better longetivity of your parts.

Is this a street car or race specific?
You will be upgrading your valvetrain, right?

yes i have upgraded valvetrain.
It will be a street/race car.
In puerto rico we dont have so many problems with laws and emissions.

i think you would benefit from a larger throttle body.

And why such high compression on a stock head? I'm going to assume that you will get it ported and a valve job once you decide on cams and valvetrain..?!?!

the RM h24x cam specs are:
262 duration @ .050 and 12.7mm lift intake
260 duration @ .050 and 12mm lift exhaust

i dunno where you got your specs from, but i got the ones above from Rocket....but maybe he has made changes to him since i last talked to him about them 3 months ago.
