When he says "no name" he means Ebay. And Ebay = DON'T EVER BUY.

Certain parts aren't problems. But I've never heard of a good ebay manifold. And I've heard that their piping doesn't fit. On the other hand, their turbos, bov's, and wastegates are gaining a good rep... You're call...

See if you can talk him down a few hundred. Then use the money you saved to get a good log manifold, and a used Garrett turbo.

Maybe you can find someone who woild be willing to take the crappy manifold and turbo off your hands too (although you probably wont get much for them).

What's "complete"?

A pile of no-name stuff needs to be pretty high to be worth $1k. So far I've only seen a turbo and a manifold mentioned... but no info on the turbo size/trim to see if it's even appropriate for your goals (which also aren't mentioned).

Right now the answer is: "Do you have a buyer already that will pay more?"

Def need more details.
