I think he made it to be a daily driver actually.
However, all the work that is involved is not worth the hassel in my opinion. Not only do you have to do the gast tank, and deal with the fuel system, but you have to deal with the immobilizer and get a stock ECU to work. A pain in the ***.

Yea you would pretty much need a donor car. You will need all the emissions equipment as said above, including the full gas tank and factory ECU with immobilizer working.

I'm well aware of how the cops hassle Hondas in California. If you think it is worth about $10,000 (Which you could build a 300hp NA k20 for). Then go for it.

from what i remember the civic was completely gutted, rear floorboard cut out to make enough room for the rsx gas tank, basically looked like crap but passed
Wow imobilizer has to work? I'm sorry thats the most bs I've heard yet. I would hate to live in CA, I'm sure the "scene" or whatever is good but, expletive having to worry about theft constantly and if your **** passes inspection, that is by far the gayest thing I have ever heard. I have never had to prove **** or been hasseled about anything on my car. I'm sory that that needs to be done for a car to be street legal in CA man, I feel for you, but the imobilizer thing......... what the gay, it takes all of 30 sec for a half retard to plug a diff ecu in (im sure all of u know someone with an rsx). WOW CA IS GAY. (for those of you who think I'm hating on ca it's one of my favorite vacations spots...... god damn I LOVE carmel valley and monterey, but I would never bring my car there )
