Default dizzy issues, rotor...

my buddy has a 91 hatch and needs to replace his distributors rotor. but the little screw that holds the rotor on wont come out and got stripped in the process, any ideas?

On many of the older cars, it can be rusted in there pretty good.

Here are some options:

1st. Give more time than 1 hour for someone to answer the question when you leave a post at 1am

Try to cut a single slot with hacksaw (or something of sort) to use a flat head and be more aware/carefull knowing this is a problem.

Break/cut away more of the rotor button so that you canuse a good pair of vise grips on it.

Drill it out, making screw now to mess up the thread on the shaft (not a fun task)

the screw was actually made for a philips and flat and both stripped out so i guess we will have to resort to cutting away at the rotor. yea sorry i get impatient, wasnt thinking about most people being asleep.
