Default I need your help???

My friend just got into a accident with his Ek. It looks like the front frame was bent a little. He took it to the shop and they says they can easily fix that. They told him that they'll have the body aligned to oem spec and it will be tested. He took it to another shop and they told him the same thing. Is it worth it???? and what is the bad side to it or good side?

You asked us if it's worth it and didn't give us a price? Is he charging $200 to fix it? or $4000?

Is this including body fix? or just frame fix?

car is technically totaled if he reports it to insurance. regardless of damage, frame damage generally = total.

well, if you fix it, and it is straightened, there is not much of a downside. $1300 doesnt really sound that bad for all that work. if the frame is not that bent, then it should be fine.

1300 is not bad at all if your talking about front end work.. most likely the radiator support is mangled, so they will have to rip everything apart, put it on a frame machine and put everything back into spec (rewelding a new support and whatever else they find back on the car) and then replace the body parts and paint, blending it with the rest of the car.. if it is a reputable shop and they do everything right IMO that is not a bad price to pay.. my friend "totalled" the front end of his del sol, got it fixed at a good body shop and honestly you cant tell the difference..

Um no. If the cost is only 1300$, then its fixable... unless the car is only worth $1500, which I would assume isn't the case.

Insurance companies "total" a car when the damage estimate is 80% or more of the vehicles current value.
