Default Broken fog light replacement??

Does anyone know if you can just replace the lense on the oem foglights, or do you have do buy a whole new assembly in order to replace it? A Stupid ****** rock got my passenger side foglight. Imperfection is my enemy!

TIA

Did the OEM fogs come on the car when you bought it? If so warranty covers it. I bought my Si with the fogs on it, and about 4K into it I broke the drivers side with a flying rock. Took it to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty.

yeah, i did get them installed when i first got the car. I didnt think it would be covered under warranty. But i'll stop in tomorrow and find out. That would be much better then paying for it myself.

I think OEM Dealer installed parts carry a shorter warranty than if you get them from the factory with the lights on. If you got factory lights then they are covered under your bumper-2-bumper. If you had the dealer installed them I forget what their warranty is... 1 year or something like that, but I forget how many miles.

That's just how I see that they can screw you. Good luck, I've broken many fog lights. I had glass lensed ones on an old truck of mine, that sucker broke twice a year. Were bright as hell though!

it doesnt appear that the actual whole assembly itself is for sale. Atleast that is what i'm seeing. I'm gonna take a ride to the dealer in about 20 minutes and see what up, and if its covered under warranty or not. I did have them installed when i bought the car, so we'll see if its covered or not.

Type-x ; any chance you might have full instructions on how to install such a kit? I just bought a kit, but it didn't come with any instructions (strange).

thanks.

I am putting the fog lights in myself, and I hope that is it is easy as everyone makes it seem. But I also hope no little rock decides to wipe one out. I think I would be a little upset.
