I wouldn't put that junk on my car. It is pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for.

You have an inline 4 cylinder, it is a header.

Do a search over the benefits of 4-1 and 4-2-1 and find what best suits your needs and conditions.

1. You get what you pay for. You are telling me a brand new SS JDM 4-1 header for $180 is not going to be crap?
2. It looks cheap.
3. I hate everything JDM, so that is irrelevant.

If you like putting cheap parts on your car, go for it.

Well theres my point you havent tried it and how can a price tag deceide if its cheap.. also in any way how does it look cheap the welds on those are actually pretty good..

Sorry i dont 1000$ to spend on a header...

I say just get it. I Believe in the whole you get what you paid for thing but seeing as if you buy this header through an authorized dealer they have a 1 year warranty. This in my mind tells me that quality is not an issue. Now for power i'm sure you'll pick up a couple, have a better looking engine bay, and it will sound bad ***. My 2 cents

Stop freaking knit picking over stupid litte incidentals. You buy a pair of pants...it's only one thing, yet you still say, "Oh, well it's a little chilly out so I think I'll put on pants." Instead of "Oh I'm a jerk with nothing better to do with my time than argue about semantics so I'm going to wear my pant today."

....

The best header you can buy is an RMF. The one in question is crap. Why waste your money on cheap parts if they wont do anything for the car except "look good" why not save up from buying lots of cheap parts and just buy a few that will actually do something for you. And for the record i have dyno'ed 6 headers on my 225 whp GSR so dont assume i dont know what im talking about. But hey ChEaPP pArATsSSs FtWwWWww yeaAA!!!11!

Dude the point is he wasnt asking what header should i get, he wanted to know if these was a decent header and in his situation it seems it is. And i never doubted you it was sleeper style who was bashing it because of its price tag. And i think even the noobs know that rmf is some good **** but would you rather eat and have a electricity or buy a header? Most people dont go all out..

Not trying to be an ethug and start a fight im jsut saying in his situation..

i'm not either by any means, but i speaking from experience with my car and many customers cars. Those headers are not worth it. If you want a good quality header that will make decent power go with the greddy, 5zigen or JDM type r 4-1. All of those make great power for the money and can be found for only a little more than the one in question

Lets at least stay on topic... Im by no means comparing a megan to a rmf(that would be the most idiotic thing to do) im jsut stating for something on a budget that pretty much is for looks..

i got this header on my lsvtec, i have had it for over a year now and have had no issue's with it, beside my crappy ground clearance... the bottom 2 pipes get scrapped, pretty bad so be carefull, It also was only 100 bucks on ebay, when they first started making this product a while ago SHIPPED. so im happy.

yes .. let me find a picture.. of my damaged header, i allready took it off and bent some steel and re welded the crushed part, and its back to the way it was, but the DA's ground clearance suck.. i think the DC's and EG's have way better ground clearance then the EF's and Da's CRX's.....

If you aren't truely serious about maximum performance and quality, it is not a bad header.
