Default Stock oil pressure sending unit ? Remove?

If I remove the stock oil pressure sending unit will it throw any codes? I have a 99 prelude converted to obd I.

Your oil light will come on, but that should be it.

I would leave it in. Just run a brass tee at the sending unit or the greddy oil sandwich plate at the oil cooler/filter.

I have a brass T right now but its very long and fear it will break. I wanted to get the sandwitch adapter but I don't think they make one for my car because on my engine that is my oil cooler. I have the stock sending unit, turbo feed line, and oil pressure guage sending unit (real guage).

The greddy unit will fit... you just have to modify the rear cross member a little bit in order to get a filter to fit. Simply use a grinder wheel to remove about 1/4"-1/2" and it will fit. I've used these on several 4th and 5th gen preludes.

if ur that worried aoubt snapping the t, just run a braided line from the block to the firewall or soemthing, and then u can t-off as many things there w/o fear of breakign anythig,
