i know it depends where you go, but is it worthing fixing syncros in a gear? or should i just get a hole new trans?

 

If you DIY it may be cheaper, but you can pick up trannys pretty cheap. I would say get a new tranny enless your real good with them.

depends what tranny your replacing. to what motor is it on?

 

its on a b16. but im gettin a new trans.

 

with that $1800 you can buy a tranny from hmotorsonline.com with lsd for $1000 plus shipping...sheesh...or with $600 plus shipping you could get a b16 tranny without lsd....

I'm not sure wha tshop you went to but I would get another estimate. that is way to expensive.

 

yeah true. im just gonna do a single cam turbo, ive wanted to do one for a while actually
