Last night someone stole my buddies ITR here in Modesto, CA the car theft capital of the U.S.

If anyone sees this car around NorCal please pm me w/ any info.

The car is stock looking (CW) It has the JDM 4x114.3 lug conversion b/c thats what it was replaced with the last time it got stolen. The wheels were bronze Rota Circuit 8's. It had black JDM Recaro seats with the rear interior gutted.

Now, heres the final thing: K20A2 swap with Hondata K-Pro.


If anyone sees or hears anything, please let me know. I sold this car to my buddy, and even I miss it, too.

Blah! Man, Car thief capital. That sucks Everyone should get the lo-jack early warning system. I hope he gets it back. 1997 is rare! If that car gets hacked, it will be so low of them. No respect whatsoever.

Don't they have bait cars in Modesto as well? I guess it didn't matter. People probably don't think an integra would be a theft car? (If I were in the police department i'd be putting integras as bait cars to catch their stupid 455es)

The lo-jack early warning coupled with a slew of GPS systems, should help at least get the car back, at least that's how it should be theoretically. Any thieves on board want to let us know how you get pass these systems. Feel free to let us know.

THey do actually have an Integra bait car here in Modesto. They need to use it more. I suspect broke *** JDM ricers as the ones who stole it. They have no $$$ to buy nice ****, but want the real thing. So, they go steal a Type R to make their own car JDM style, foo! I know they already took the Recaros. It's so JDM.
Hey, btw, if anyone comes across these seats, these are the BLACK JDM Recaros. The right side seat has a small JDM cigarette burn on it. If someone tries to sell them to you, punch them in the nose, run off with them, and please contact me. Thanks.

Hate to bring this back from the dead but I think the car was just sold through auction. It had hasports? for a K20 swap and was a 97.

 

does the car have a JDM front?

 

It's bad when the same car gets stolen, rebuilt, and then stolen again!

 

no it doesnt have a jdm front end if im correct my car ws sold for about a grand. They are going to have some quater panel work to do. Replace the wiring harnesses. Get a new OE Roof other will cost just as much or more to fix. They got a steal though. Rota Circuit 8, with avs es 100 with 90% tread left.

I told my parents to keep it but i was just deployed so they didnt get the message buy back was 235. Yea i know dirt cheap and a kick in the face.

zygspeed hopfully this rebuild it stays on the track only and never sees real pavement

im sorry to hear for your friends loss. my 97 itr got stolen in pasadena a week ago so i feel for him. hope we get them back
