That front bar is a 26mm and you'll need the LCA's at the least. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

end links and the correct size inner bushings is all you'd need. Other wise it's bolt in... if you have an OEM sway in there all ready.
BTW, 26mm in the front is too much understear IMO.

first post... he has a 22mm on there now so I'd bet he has an EX or SI now.

My car is EG6 and it have 22mm fornt and 15mm rear sway bars. I plan to upgrade them with 26m Si front and 23mm type-r rear way bars. Is this a good idea or not?

I run the 26/23 combo right now.
understeer all the time except for serious mid corner braking.
I'm planning to drop in a 24 front to hopefully get the rear to rotate a little more. (24mm is from a DC2)
22mm is next after that if I'm not happy yet.

IMO stick with the 22 front and try the 23mm rear on for size. The rear is easy to install and you can always drop in a 24mm or 26mm if you feel that the rear comes around too easily.

The 99-00 Si front sway-bar end-links will not hook up to an EG front LCA, even if it is the version made for a sway-bar. The reason is because the 99-00 Si end links have ball-joints at both ends that make a 90* turn. The 22mm sway-bar end-links won't hook up to a 26mm sway-bar (or 24mm for that matter) for the opposite reason. To use the 26mm front bar, you would have to use the 99-00 Si end-links, front LCAs AND the front damper forks (wider fork bushing ). This is just silly for a mod that increases your tendancy to understeer and also further reduces the amount of caster that the EG front suspension is already seriously lacking...

Stay 22mm...

actually the teg end links work. Balljoint at both ends, top is a right angle.(that's what I run)

I'm agreeing 110%
I have the 26mm in the front and do not like it at all. (as I said above)

After going from NO front sway-bar to a 24mm GSR front sway, I can tell you the difference in feel is night & day. Weather or not the effects will increase over/under-steer will only be seen by testing (which I don't do on my street car). I can tell you that roll was reduced significantly. The feel is great, and it made a much bigger difference than just adding a 14mm rear sway...

Do you mean GSR end-links? They have the ball-joint only at the end that connects to the sway-bar. If so, thats good to know. Thanks...

they might be the ITR end links then. There is a ball joint on both ends.

ITR is the same as the GSR (ball-joint at one end). Only the 99-00 Si end-links have a ball-joint at both ends. Please explain how you attached the ball-joint end to a regular EG LCA. If you have a picture of the setup that would help imensly...

Are both of these posts true? Did the GSR and ITR come with a larger front bar than the rest of the tegs? I though all G3 tegs came with the same front bar.

I'd really like to find a smaller bar than my 00 gsr came with...

Yes it's true. In the following picture, bar #1 is the RS/LS 22mm, and bar #2 is the GSR/ITR 24mm.
