*** EG's PERFECT EXHAUST???
i just wanted to know a nice and deep toned exhaust for an EG. i like the N1 but want other suggestions and if u have any pictures post some up! N1 and the WS2 are pretty nice.. but lmk. thank you
I have a buddyclub pro spec with a 2.5" test pipe. It sounds really deep and is almost silent at low rpms. I have a b series swap FYI.
I don't think there is one perfect exhaust though.

if you dont care about a name-brand, then i would say kteller mandrel bent piping, a long resonator, or two, a cat, and a straight through muffler, like the WS2.
resonators make all the difference

well not perfect exhaust.. but one that is just right in tone and style.. but i know its up to the car owners likes.
is your exhaust an axleback? and how much was it? i have a b series as well.

a nice axle back is going to cost a lot. Like around $500. And alot of what you are buying is a name. Sure it is good quality, but your paying for a name. A kteller exhaust is pretty cheap, dont remember how much, but then you just add what you want.

i have a 4-2-1 header, stock cat, 2.25 pipes, resonator and a magnaflow muffler. was pretty deep and not too loud. but i have since cut out the resonator for clearance reasons.

Has there ever been an open poll that didn't quickly degenerate into a poll about the original poster's sexual preferences?
When my OEM wore out a couple years back I just replaced it with new OEM pieces. The B16A3 is high strung as it is, I was afraid of making a bad situation worse.
So all I hear when driving around is what comes out the cold air intake. And I'd hate to have the atypical fartcan exhaust note competing with that bass/baritone...

LOL, your probably right, but dont alot of post end up that way anyway? And as much as i like OEM, my OEM exhaust was about the size of a peashooter (CX Hatch), and if you get the right exhaust, it doesnt sound bad, or loud. I personally have an OEM RSX type S muffler on 2.5 piping, high flow cat, and 24" resonator, it is nice, not loud, still sporty sounding. I like it, but will probably get a WS2 or something else because i cant fit my sway bar with that muffler
