Hey everyone, just picked up a skunk intake manifold for my 94 GSR and in researching it i found a few people saying that i will need a ITR throttle body cable because the GSR cable will hit the hood because its not designed the same. Is this true, and if so are there any other extra parts that i will need? Thanks for all the help.

 

If you are using the ITR throttle cable, you will also need the ITR throttle cable bracket and a non-GSR throttle pulley.

There are guys using the GSR throttle cable, though. I just chose to do it correctly and got the ITR parts.

 

Do you know where to get the ITR throttle pulley? You can't buy it from Honda seperately as they sell the entire throttle body as an assembly. Most people selling used throttle bodies aren't going to canabolize one part making the rest useless.

That is the tricky part. I had to make a WTB thread on this forum. I had 3 or 4 offers within 24 hours.

Or, you could just spend unnecessary money and upgrade to an ITR throttle body like my buddy did.
