Default Rough shifter

Hi all,

My Fit (sport) has about 4,000km on it and has been gently driven. Am I right in assuming that very rough shifting (audible clunks) is a bad thing? I'm something of a car n00b so please bear with me. I ask mostly because the m/t Fit I test drove had a wonderful shifter and mine is really rough... Nothing like the test drive. :/

Thanks!

I don't know if I could call them clunks, but, I do consider my Fit shifter to be noiser than most standard transmission cars I've driven.

you know i have noticed that too it is a little noisy but i think it's just my Aspec exhaust playing tricks on me.

Are you driving it in auto mode or in sport mode? i feel this sometimes when im in shift mode.
