Just like to say that i am the proud owner of the Injen intake, but even prouder of the 2006 Honda Civic Si that it is on. Anyways. The injen CAI was one of the best investments i think i coulda made for my car. Cold air is always good. The injen, as far as i know of, has had no problems, and i know that i havent had any problems either. You can actually feel a slight increase in power...SLIGHT. and the "roar" that it makes just puts a grin on your face. It opens up SOO much in the engine bay. Your engine will look empty after doing it...but its a GOOD emptiness. haha.

Id have to say that you will absolutely LOOOVE the Injen CAI. I know I do. And be glad that you went with injen..i dont like any of that AEM fancy shmancey stuff.

I have had my Injen CAI for a month now. I absolutely love it. You have to remove the front bumper to change the filter though. Only takes 30 minutes total to remove bumper, change filter and reattach the bumper.

SAI will still be good too.

well, i got the little "water condom" for my intake. its called the hydroshield. now dont get me wrong, i know that it wont prevent hydrolock, but it will help prevent those little splishes and splashes of water from the occasional small puddle or rain. I would reccomend getting it and being "good" in the rain.

Do you know if the hydrosheild decreases the HP gains? If so, how much?

from what ive heard. there is only minimal hp loss if any at all. it only allows (i think) .005 % of particles through. I dont think that it would hurt the performance enough for you to tell. So id say its worth getting.

Unless you drive it through a deep puddle and fully submerge the filter, you'll be fine.

i dont see any video. wheres the link at? also I would recomend getting the hydro shield to anyone. My car stalled out in the rain one afternoon. I was a monsoon but i didn't drive in any puddles. But now with the hydroshield there are no problems. I was down in florida last weeke during the tropical storm and the car drove just fine in the rain. (strong downpoors.)
