I'm replacing my shifter bushing this weekend and was thinking of buying a short shifter i mainly use my car as a daily but do drag at the track maybe once a month. Do you guys use one? and if so which one.

Short shifters force your tranny to shift faster than it was designed.
Your synchros can only "synchronize" the meshing gears so fast. If you force them to shift faster, synchro wear will be accelerated.
I would not recommend one myself.

the only thing short shifters do is make up for a slow hand, you're gonna bang gears anyway

i had the integra linkages that came with my gsr swap custom fitted to my crx, and they are super tight now. i dont think there is any way you can miss a gear now really.

Learn how to shift properly and you won't ever "bang gears".

i like my short throw, but mainly because its a real short throw and not an adaptor.

and if you didnt know, real short throws are uncommon for preludes, especially 5th gens.
