Default Can I run aftermarket rods on P29 pistons?

Is there any maching required besides pressing in the wrist pin? Has anyone done this? I am planning on running 50-75 shot also.

just run the modded stock ls rods or run shotpeened stock rods. As for running aftermarket rods...If you're gonna run beefier rods, might as well run beefier pistons too.

By the time you are done with all that you are hardly saving any money. Why not get some SRPs or CPs and be done with it? The only real "dome" off the shelft d-series aftermarket pistons are SRPs. All the other companies are more or less flat-tops.
