Default 4g pass airbag question

I have a 92 Si that I will doing a dash swap on, so I thought "why not add in the pass airbag?"

What would be involved? srs controller, harnesses, pass airbag from donor prelude?

TIA

most everyone here would rather not have them so you probably won't get much info

and remember these are the first gen srs, so they don't have the delay on the deploy and caused more injuries in crashes than the new generation air bag does

yea in addition to either using the dash out of a prelude equipped with it, or just being very good at cutting holes in the dash to put it in, there is also a bit of bracketry involved, it mounts to the thick metal support that runs behind the dash, and i'm not sure the mounts would be there on a car in which it did not come originally equipped, nor do i think that this bracket would be an easy swap....

good luck with it though, if you do it contact your insurance company and maybe they will give you a discount for it

Yeah - I was planning on using a dash from an appropriate car with pass airbag.
My car should have the holes to bolt that bracket into - right?

Worst case = I make a pocket for it and have extra storage - right?
