Default axle back exhaust

hey ive done some searching and having gotten a straight forward answer... i have been pulled over 5 times with 2 tickets issued in the past 6 months because of my exhaust being to loud... i have the ws2.. and this is just driving on the highway i think that fact that the muffler is bigger than a toilet and solid crome isnt helping either... i dont want to replace my entire exhaust because i like the performance but i want to change just the axle back.. ive been trying to find this rsr axle back now is that more restrictive making it quiet or what? what about the itr axle back? would that work... by the way its a 94 del sol si with a b18c gsr swap

WS2 loud? I dunno if your listing the correct exhaust. I had that and it was super quite. You may have the N1. The RSR is just as quite as the WS2. Tanabe, and HKS also make a quite sport exhaust. The ITR will not bolt straight up to your chassis I don't think without modification.

From what I know of the RSR it's a chambered muffler which keeps it quiet...the piping I believe is still 2.36" or something to that effect. I've been looking for one but I've never heard they just sell an axle back...I've only found the complete catback for like $550 shipped.

Any muffler shop would be able to fit an ITR muffler onto your exhaust, same with an RSX Type S muffler, those would be two very good options. I just dont' know whether the hangers would bolt up to your chassis...also wondering if they would bolt up to my eg??

ApexI makes the World Sport, not GReddy.

And if you go boost on a c1, i'd look at a 3in diameter exhaust from the cat back, not just the axle portion.

You CANNOT have the ws2 and get tickets. Its like...stock G35 or 350z sounding.

You can add a resonator which shouldnt restrict too much maybe 1hp loss. If the appearance of the muffler is too appealing to cops, paint it flat black.

Paint the muffler flat black and hack off the tip. Problem solved. next.

which makes me wonder how do you not get pulled over and how do you pass inspection if you have like an evo because their stock exhaust is like a 6 inch canister...
