check out tein s-tech they lower your car 1.5 and they are meant for use on the stock shocks abut its better to upgrade to koni yellows and if u want to spend a lil more money that just go for the coilovers
good luck

if u get coilovers you dont have to worry about your struts popping because they replace the whole thing struts and springs
Tien SS-p
Eibach Pro-Street-S Coilovers
Megan coilovers ar supposed to be good
the good thing about these is the fact that you can adjust them to any height thats right for you.

Slamming an RSX = zero suspension travel. Not a very good situation.

I'm just went to Yellow's with S.Techs. It actually created the popping sound when I made the switch, and switching back to stock didn't fix it. Overall I like the ride, and the drop is EXACTLY where I want it. The gaps on either side of the wheel are ugly, but it's better than having the crazy 4" gap on top

exactly......
i would not go lower than 1" to 1.25...... any lower can have adverse effects on a strut suspension

Suspension travel, both in the front and rear, is extremely poor with the RSX/EP3/01-05 Civic.
That red RSX has got to ride like a piece of crap. I don't care how much you spend on coilovers, there is no fixing the oem Honda geometry.
Koni Yellows and Tein S-tech is about the sweetest setup you can have for a daily driver/part time autox car.
Take two equal coilovers...slam one car (2.5" or more) and give the other one about 1.5" of lowering, and the 1.5" lowered car will handle so much better than the 2.5"+ lowered car.
Function before form IMO.

Some of you guys are being straight-up ********; I don't think that it's a coincidence that the ******** are the ones that can't spell, either.
If you want to drive a car that's slammed to the ground, get an old Impala or a minitruck. They're not out of character when they handle like ****. You've got a ******' RSX -- it's meant for driving, not putzing down the boulevard.
The picture above with the chicken-scratch "Gaps = teh l4ME" only demonstrates that using a flash always makes dirty wheel wells look like ****.
