Default Rear engine mount bracket won't fit back on...

I've been rebuilding my B16A CRX from the ground up. I dropped the trans to put a clutch/flywheel/new trans and pulled out the rear engine mount bracket so I could put on my Hasport mounts. I installed my hasport drivers side and rear mount without removing the engine but now that I have the rear mount in I can't get the rear bracket back over the mount past the engine... I don't want to have to disconnect more stuff to pull the motor completely out to drop the motor back down onto the rear mount. I've tried tilting the motor up and down on the drivers side mount but it just dosent want to go on... Does anyone know of any tricks to get this bracket back on?
Thanks,
-Kurt

Any pix so we can help you better?

You may have to undo the other mounts, put a jack under the motor and shift it forward, install the mount, then push it back.

it's easier, in my opinion, to get the rear bracket bolted to the rear mount first (just started) and then do the sides afterwards. and then tighten everything afterwards. I've done it with the sides already in and then doing the rear.... takes a little more effort as you need to rock the motor forward & back in order to squeeze the bracket into place.

Try and lift the motor up....place the mount on. Don't tighten the bolts down, but enough to keep the mount stable but on the member...Bring the motor down, and try and wiggle it in.
What a phallic post

Well I got it back on, didn't have to pick up the motor or anything, all I did was try from under the car so I could see better. I put the bracket on as far as it wanted to go from up top leaving it at quite an angle to the mount. Then from below i wiggled it a bit and pushed the bracket up twards the intake manifold and it got past the block and slid right on. THANKS GUYS!
