spark plug crush washer question

spark plug crush washer question

I have taken out my spark plugs a couple of times and the crush washers are basically toast. Would i be losing compression if they are not present?

they might not seal or could loosen up. probably better to just keep them on there even if they're flattened out.

From my experiences, yes.

That is what provides a solid seal between the head and the plug.

Not much noticeable I would not think though.

i just dont get how my B16 is as slow as my bro's oil burning Z6....trying to narrow things down. Thanks for a solid answer
