I have a GSR with a civic Rad, but the inlet/outlet is 1" and the stock GSR hoses are too big for it. how do people go about addressing that?

 

Use hose clamps, or get a Civic size radiator with 32mm in/outs.

I wouldn't feel comfortable using hose clamps. Is there any type of wrap I could put around the inlet and outlet so that it would fit the GSR hoses better? You can't flare aluminum, can you?

 

just hose clamp its ive done in on many peoples cars

 

use civic radiator hoses than use the stove to heat up the hose so you can slide the thermostat housing onto the hose than use greas to slide that sucker on perfect seal

What year hoses should I use that would be a direct fit for a GSR?

 

i have a half civic radiator in my 95 integra the "top hose get this part at autozone part number S-876 " no modification needed. , the lower one get a 95 civic one and heat thqat sucker up to fit the thermostat side . The benefits of working at autozone being bored and messing around with parts

 

Nice, you wouldn't happen to have that lower rad hose part number, so I only have to make one trip??

i used this brass adapter to only expand the hose larger over the stove or you can take the thermostat housing off heat up the hose and push it on the thermostat i got a perfect seal

 

Nice, so:

S-876 is the upper hose, which should connect directly. (how could that directly connect unless they are two different sizes on each end, can you explain that?)
XL-506 which needs to be heated to slide on.

 

while i was browsing in the hose section there were so many configurations. and after 4 yrs at autozone you kinda memorize part numbers espeacially if you'r into import racing, and yes that specific hose one side is larger than the other i forgot to mention you have to trim a little of it like and inch no biggie.
