Crankshft Woodruff keys
What's going on H-T. I am trying to reinstall my crankshaft sprocket and pulley but I cannot seem to get the woodruff keys back on. Below is a picture of the keys. The curved on is the one being a bitch..how did you get this back in for anyone who has done this before?? Also ...is the inner belt guide nessasary when installing the sprocket and pulley. The reason I ask is there is no way in hell all three is going to mount up to the crankshaft and still be flush when it bolts up. I have about a 1/4 inch lip from my pulley to the end of the crankshaft..WTF!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks H-T OH this is for a B16A2 if it really matters.

i wouldn't recommend an undampened pulley like that. you'll wear crank/bearings alot quicker. that might also be the problem with the key.
I don't think the problem with the keys is the pulley for the fact that the curved key is underneath the sprocket, that where the cutout in the crankshaft starts to curve up?? I am still going to try and mount up the stock pulley to see if it helps. Thanks for the info
anyone else?
anyone else?
alright H-T I think I figured out the woodruff problem.. it look's like one of my crankshaft keys got mixed in with my camshaft keys, the reason why it's not fitting...until I can get a new key for the crank I'm not going to worry 'bout it. I still am wondering if the belt guide is necessary? any thoughts
