Hi there I have a 96 del sol si with a 94 gsr engine swap. Running fine open header until i recently added one of those moates hondalog usb cables to the cnr port on the ecu. now the thing thats weird is that it ran fine for 2 days then power on the 3rd day was really poor and 4th day i can hardly get the car to move. like its fuel starvation.
I replaced the fuel filter, checked for leaks, new plugs. any ideas?
I took off the hondalog cable from the ecu and no luck. r
reset the ecu and no luck.
I dont know what code im throwing(dont know how to bypass it obd1) but it does sound like a fuel starvation problem idling extremely low and giving it gas causes it to conk out.

ya I dont think I could bring the ecu to honda or acura as its not a stock ecu. its a chipped ecu to run the gsr. have no idea what the ecu used to be.
so you think too much fuel?? could be either way you give it gas and it just sputters till it dies. very weird.

thankyou. yes we are going to try stock ecu next my friend has the stock for it. he said it will not run right with it because he has an aftermarket intake manifold and the butterflies cause problems.
