i have a 99 jdm b16a motor and runnin a obd-1 manifold temporarily. I'm looking for the skunk2 non-pro series (the one with a carb number). Can't seem to find it on any retail sites or ebay.

I've heard the pro series kinda sucks and the fact its still EO pending kinda sucks. Looking for a intake manifold I can make a smog-able engine out of.

Any sites or at least a model number I can use to refine my search would be great, thanks.

 

you have it backwards. The pro series is the one that doesnt suck (alignment with the ports) and the pro series has the carb sticker.

What other carb legal manifolds are there that are worth looking at compared to skunk2?

Also, since it's US manifold that has a place for a Evap purge control sensor and my engine doesn't have that, i'm not sure what the fitting for the sensor looks like, something it clips on to or is it a hole in the manifold? If so, i can just plug it?

umm... ok.

The old Skunk 2 wasn't that great, the Pro Series is a good manifold.
