Default Oil pressure sender question

Looking for opinions of whether this will be ok or if it will break.

It's hard to tell, but the sender is mounted to a ge oil sandwich with a 90 and an extension. I tried using just the 90, but it hits the oil filter or the block.

Eek.

Make a brace for it and brace it with the firewall.

Yeah, I kinda figured it wouldn't be wise to run with it like that. I think even I had been told it would work, I was going to do something else.

That is the biggest sender i have ever seen. Get a smaller unit or that is not going to work

use a 45 off the sandwich, or relocate to the firewall.

Relocate it to the firewall. You can get stainless line in exact lengths from http://www.mcmaster.com or Flamenco-T just to name a few.

I just ordered the stuff to mount it somewhere. I'm not in a hurry to get this done and the piece of mind is worth it.

it would snap off the first time you shifted since the motor moves in relation to the fire wall. a brace to the block would be fine but kind of bulky.
