Default Cold air intake

I've got a 96 accord lx sedan. I'm adding a cold air intake kit, and have seen pictures with the new round air filtermounted by the battery and then some where the tube goes down to the black box underneath the black box where the stock air filter is. What would be the better mounting or routing for my cold air intake?

Cold Air intake is the type of intake that goes down to your air box.
Short ram intake ends next to the battery.
Problem solved.

That was simple enough. I figured that was the case. Now, I have to remove my bumper, of which I attempted to do yesterday. No success???? Any hints?

There have been quite few threads about this issue. You should do a "search".
But anyway, remove your upper grill between headlights. Remove the clips that connect the bumper cover to the reinforcement (should be 3 clips).
There is one clip on each fender, connecting the bumper cover to the fender, you will probably need to turn your wheels when doing this.
Now, under each headlight there's also a few clips. You need to gain access to that, in order to remove the bumper. The headlights themselves are attached to a part of the "radiator support" under the bumper, that means they won't come off before the bumper, so don't try it.
Not sure if the OEM headlight housings could come off leaving the rest of the lamp assembly behind, but I know that aftermarket headlamps for the 5th generation won't do it.
Now, you try it.

thanks. i've identified the clips under the front grill, the ones on the fenders, but the ones under the headlights seem impossible. will do a search in reference to this topic. i do appreciate the feedback's. just found this site today, better late then never.
