Default intercooler, too big???

just wanted to know if you guys think this intercooler is any good and do you think it will be too big? I've heard all the horror stories associated with this company and their products but i have used one their intercoolers before and it was trouble free!
im boosting on a b18c4 plan on running 10psi on t3/t4 for daily driving and then turning it up for track etc looking to hit 450 whp when the boost is turned up just dont want to much lag! thanks for any input!

that intercooler will work alright.......although you don't need 3" inlets and outlets. it might cause the turbo to "lag" a little more since there is not as much velocity through the big core and 3" inlets/outlets. now if you had planned to make 600+hp then i would say that intercooler will work well.

I'm sure you can find something about the same size or slightly smaller with 2.5" inlet and outlets that will work just as good and probably cost the same or less.
