Default Optima Batteries box or no box?

Considering the optima battery is a sealed dry cell is it required to have a sealed box with a breather? Or just a good battery tie down? All in the back of a crx? Thanks for the help. I have already searched!

doesnt matter... it needs a box with a vent exiting the vehicle.....

yeah, I agree. Even though it is sealed, they still want any battery to vent out of the car just in case the case were to crack or there was an accident.
