hey i swappd a jdm d15b motor into my EK hatch and i notice that it doesnt have that hole in the engine bay for cold air intakes like EG and EXs have. im just wonderin what cold air intake can i buy for my car? or do i have to stay short ram forever ~_~. or would i have to do some custom cutting

 

That's weird that it doesn't have it... do you have any pictures? I would jsut cut a hole.

 

I have a hatch and mine doesn't have that hole. It's all good, I run a stock b16 airbox.

 

I'm not sure but I believe you can buy a CAI from a LS, but you HAVE to relocate your radiator overflow reservoir.

That's if you don't want to cut.

 

go get a hole saw and cut out the pre-stamped circles where the air box sits. clean up the edges with sand paper or a deburring tool and then get some kind of paint or primer on there so it won't rust. then install your intake.
