Default skunk2 chip

I have a 97 GSR swap in my 94 civic coupe. Currently running a P28 ecu. I saw this on jdmshit.com

http://www.jdmshit.com/ecu/index.html

I'm interested in the skunk2. Which would you get?

Also, since the P28 is sohc vtec the chip will work smoothly with my GSR motor?

TIA

Stock motor?
It aint really going to do **** for you. If you upgrade your motor etc. Its probably best just to chip it with chrome or something.

Crome is a program used to chip ECU's, so they can be made appropriate for your particular application, not just a generic chip. A custom one should give you the best results.

If you just have i/h/e then don't worry about tuning.
It's not like a video game where you get a racing chip and then +15 hp.
When a car is boosted then it's a different story with chipping it, but for a mild set-up like that spend your money on something else, chip it once you have a lot done to it.

Real Time Programing. this is the best tunning that you can do, from my understanding. read http://www.pgmfi.org the wiki.

i dont plan on building up my motor with pistons and rods and all that. I just want a basic NA setup. So the chip wouldn't be worth getting? I do want to change my redline and vtec engage.

If you change your vtec engagement point with just I/H/E .... you're going to lose power, plain and simple.

Changine your vtec engagement won't make you gain horsepower.
And changing the redline is a bad idea on stock internals.
