Hello,

I am new to honda-tech and just picked up a 1998 championship white itr. I heard the last bay area itr meet was not a success. Anybody interested in having another one in the northern california area? Preferably by Sausalito where there was one about a year ago. I am from San Francisco and know there has to be at least 15-20 R's out here. I was thinking any Saturday or Sunday to fit with most peoples schedule.

How about Sunday, October 1st guys? This will give people enough time to find out about it. If you guys know people with type-r's let them know about it! Let's try to keep it type-r only for security reasons. Being an R owner, you can never be to careful. Any suggestions on what we should do besides chill, cruise, and talk? Do you guys want to do a barbeque or will that be too much hassle? This is my first type-r meet so any suggestions are gladly welcomed.

 

I really don’t this will be a successful meet because in the past all the ITR meets were organized by well know ITR owners and since you’re a new member that’s even worse, but I might be wrong

 

itr1137, please don't let your new member status discouraging you from organize a successful meet.

It's koo JDMSI, it will be successful meet. Once I get at least 10 confirmations it should be alright. And if not, at least I gave it a shot. For those that want to come, the meet will be at 12:00pm on Sunday, October 1st. Who's in for sure? Let me know through email along with your name and a phone number.

i just got a confirmation from actionanh. I now have 2 people who are seriously interested. Is that all? I am not giving locations yet until i get at least 10 confirmations.

I told you that it might be a problem getting people to come.

 

"itr1137", you may want to edit your post with headline information like WHAT, WHEN and...ect on page one. This will help other members to decide base on that info. Be organize in organizing an event is one of the key to have a successful turn out.

Be patient. Think positive. The meet is not for another three weeks. Like I said I will try my best. Whatever happens, happens.
