Default car amp / sub only works when the car is on ACC :(

heyya HT,

i havent driven my car for about a week or so, and i think my sound system decided to crap itself out

when i turn the car on, the amp starts to blink and theres no bass... however, the headunit and the speakers still work.

but if i leave the car in ACC, but dont fully start it, my subs hit just like they did two weeks ago.

does anybody know what is wrong??!

any help would be appreciated

Check all the power and ground connections, including the batt. terminals. 94

What happens when you turn on the ignition (one click past acc), but don't start the car? Does it do the same thing?

The amp needs way more current then the HU does, so check those connections, also make sure the fuse in the amps power line is making a good connection, and if its an AGU fuse... http://www.scosche.com/efx.asp...50F4I like one of those, replace it even if it looks good. 94

Check the voltage that you're getting when the car is running. Maybe your alt regulator went bad and is putting out more than 14v, and the amp is shutting itself down due to overvoltage.

I hate agu fuses now and reccommend stepping up to anl. way better quality and don't have probs with fake blow out fuses
