Does your honda do this?
Ok,
I have a 1994 honda accord LX Coupe, Today i noticed when i started it, it starts BUT if i shut it off to the II position and quickly turn it to the III position ( less then a second) it would start right up with out me holding the key to get the starter to rotate to the start the engine. I hope that makes sense. Does anyone here have a honda that does that
Send some feedbacks

The engine has stopped spinning yet, so when you turn the key back to "ON" the ignition and fuel systems come back on and immediately work to keep the engine running. No biggie.
I had an old beater '72 Plymouth Fury III with a carb of course. I could turn the key as fast as possible to the start position and release it as fast as possible, count one mississippi after releasing the key and then by some miricle, the damn thing would fire up on its own, now that was an awesome carb and ignition system. That car only let me down twice when I let it run out of gas twice, I also learned not to pour gas into a stirofoam cup so you could pour that into the carb to assist starting.
ok
If whenever you guys go out to for a drive just keep this post in mind and try doing what i posted, i'd like to knwo if this normal ( i don't think it is) but try it as an experiment.

of course it isnt normal, everyone knows that an engine spinning 700-1200 rpm at idle once turned off, will stop spinning completely immediately and come to a dead stop, just like when you are doing 20 or so mph and you step on the brakes the car stops immediately, like on less than a dime
the starter on your car doesnt do anything special, all it does is turn the flywheel which turns the crank and makes it spin, when you turn the key off and on real quick, crank is still spinning which is exactly the same thing the starter does when you turn the key all the way
so yes its normal, so stop saying "hey lets all go try this the next time were in our cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
