Turbo wont fit my 00' GSR
Alright guys, i tried searching and couldnt find anything related too my problem. but if you can find a thread about it, let me know. but any ways, i just got my ram horn in today and i tried to get it on. but it seems that my turbo won't fit on there right? its rubbing against the block. i was told too shave some of the braket off, so i did. and it still wont fit? i need help on this, cause im really stuck in a corner right now. has any one ran into the same problem or has a salution too it?
well, i got the ccfab ram horn, a xs power t3/t4 57 trim. and ill get some pics when theres some light out. its too dark as of now.
I dont have the same turbo but on my ramhorn with an sc61 the power steering bracket had to be cut in half for it to fit?How much more room do you need next to the bracket after you shaved it?
well, i shaved off part of the power steering braket so the mani would fit. but the problem is that my inlet is on the passenger side and its on the block too where i cant get the turbo too line up with the mani. ill have pics up later today when i get some help out here
is it hitting the block webbing? You may need trim the block webbing. For my turbo i had to trim a good portion of the block webbing off right under the front coolant drain on the block, i figure yout prolly need to do something similar....
