This is something i never really worried about, But when the car is running you can clearly hear the air rushing through the intake pipes. Its not a specific spot its just everywhere a pipe is i can literally hear air rushing thru it. Just wondering if this is normal or not. Never noticed it on anyone else's boosted car.

 

lol you have an air rushing sound through the pipes? what do you think the air is doing? slowly moving through them, the air is moving at almost half the speed of sound, making that noise is normal

what i hear sounds like air rushing through the pipes but its actually just the turbo

 

I would check for leaks

 

You have a leak. Need todo a boost leak test. Tuning an STi a couple weeks ago. Same sound. Had boost leaks every where

 

my car made that sound and i like it. no leaks.

 

You guy are probably talking about the turbo sucking in air, you cant hear air running through pipe unless you put your ear on the pipe or something
