Did a search and didn't find any topics with people that had these CEL codes up. Was wondering if anyone could help me diagnose what the cause of these are. Don't really know much about honda's and it's my girlfriends car. But here are the codes:

P0700 Automatic Transmission Control System
P1706 Open in Transmission Range Switch Circuit

Any help would be appreciated. Just need to know what the codes mean and what causes them. THanks

Was some MX performed around the transmission gear shift wiring, radio install or anything, I think the open circuit forced the other trans code??????????
