what size oil line does everyone use for their oil inlet?
im planning on using a -4 line for my oil inlet to a greddy kit. old oil line was bad so decided to upgrade. all the fittings will be the same and will use a banjo fitting for the oil inlet. would this give me enough oil pressure to the turbo? i've seen others use -3 lines but some had oil pressure problems(too high). some one help please.
Used -3AN with no problems...the turbo's seals went out after about 25,000 miles and 1.5 years I think it was. Now I have a -4AN line with the ATP Turbo .60 restrictor. No oil residue at all after about 8000 miles.
-3 for most people but -4 with restrictor will be alot better for your turbo.....most hondas see up to 80psi or more of oil pressure and your turbo doesnt need that much...thus the need for the restictor with the bigger line......
why would you need a restrictor if your running a bigger size diameter line with a banjo fitting to go with it? the greddy turbo runs a big diameter line with the banjo fittings with no problem. isnt the banjo fittings purpose is to restrict some some of the flow? thanks for the reply guys.

yeah i also have a -4 line. its way to big and oil is leaking onto my downpipe and also car is smoking a lot.... blown seals?
i just purchased an oil restrictor and i don't have the fukin tools to take out my turbo to isntall the resrictor. the drak manfild is way too tight for my tools to get into.
can't find a decent offset wrench either.... bought a couple and the offset was way too much and didn't fit between the creeps....
