Default check out this lip from ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT

I never had any experience with polyurathane before.

Has anyone bought a lip like this before. i know fitament probably will be off a tad. The last replica itr lip that was on the car (it was there when i bought the car) was made out of fiber glass and it broke pretty damn easy.

so if anyone had any experience with this let me know

actually, I bought a polyurethane lip for my Ej8 from an ebay store, picked it up for 45 bucks shipped and it was worth all of that and more. Never broke, easy install, fit really really great. If I were you, I would go for it. Thats what I'm gonna do. I found a front and rear polyurethane lip for my Dc5 for like 180 shipped and I'm picking up a set of 05 side skirts for free. Go for it man!

depends on whose painting it though. I was watching that on the PowerBlock on spike TV. It was on Muscle Car and they were painting a whole new Roush body kit for an 05 rustang. Theres a certain way to paint polyurethane so its allowed to flex. It looked amazing after though. But there is a certain technique for painting polyurethane.

as far as im concerned all the oem bumpers made of abs plastic and polyurethane is an obs plastic. i think this lip is a way to go and there is no painting issues with poly whatsoever

I watched them say that there is painting issues with polyurethane and any flexable material. The paint needs to be able to flex. I would know, I just had my Ej8 done last year and the bumpers started to chip where its able to bend.

i ordered that lip last week, hopefully it shows up this week so i can get it on the car. painting that lip is no different that painting the flexible oem bumper covers cars use just don't forget to add your flex additive.
