Default Crankshaft pulley fell off.

I got lucky and that's all that happened. So now i need the bolt washer and the key. Would they have what i need at the autopart store? Or will I have to goto a Honda dealer? need some help ASAP my car is stuck at work and well i'd hate to spend the weekend with a broke down rex Also what else should I check for. Don't know if anything might have gotten messed up. I'm not tossing in CEL's just the Bat light. I have a new Alt belt. So let me know if there is anything else I should do since.. well... it's off.

just get a new bolt, washer and keyway from honda,,at my local dealership its only about $5.xx for the bolt,$3.xx for the washer and $2.xx for the keyway....trying to get a crank bolt of a junkcar will be a pain in the ***.......you'd want a new crank pulley to ,,,should be around $60-$70..sorry it happened to you but since all that ***** off might as well change the timing belt, waterpump and tensioner..up to you though

would be easier to go to dealer and pay $10 if its any thing like junkyards around here. did you lose the thrust washer ? is the pulley damage?

So somthing a little funny on what happened. So i just got back from honda and picked up the bolt and key. Drove back to myplace to do the oil on the civic before i drove out and fixed the rex. took off the tire tossed down the lug nut RIGHT NEXT TO THE crankshaft pully BOLT. That means I drove for a day with out the nut before it fell off. Just glad it fell of a block away from work well off to go fix it.

I had it happen to be before, got on the high way and started accelerating and bam the battery light cam one It was right after i did my timing belt too, I put the Key in verticall and not horizntal or whatever and it worked its way loose ...Hey we all learn from out mistakes but yea I was lucky like you that it didn't damage anything else and the pulled ended up sitting on the radius rod and was in good shape still when I pulled off the hgihway good luck
